Constructed Textiles is an exploration of craft structuring principles such as knots, knitting and weaving and their potential use in the building environment.
The project is part of the course Stand Up Architecture of TU Delft and concerns the integration of digital design process and its application to the design of performative architecture.
The central focus of this project is the investigation of form finding processes of woven structures that derive from the integration of the material values and extrinsic criteria such as structural and environmental response.Computation tools will be used for the creation and generation of an appropriate computational model.
